I love a wedding and for me this often means creating a little illustrated gift! This one was all about thistles and roses for my friends John and Rebecca.
I’m back from my blog hiatus and finally sharing a snippet from my friend’s wedding in Edinburgh. I love a good wedding and this one was incredible!
I visited Edinburgh for a short weekend ahead of a friend’s wedding where I stayed in a lovely little apartment in the heart of the city, ate some delicious food and took some photos. Find out more about what I got up to on the first day!
Hello I’m back! It’s been a whole month since I’ve blogged and I’ve had a crazy busy time with work but I’ve finally found a spare moment to pop some words on the blog.
The first illustration I ever gifted was for my friends Rachael and Martin. Fast-forward three years and little Joni is the newest, most adorable addition to the family and ahead of her christening, it seemed fitting to get the watercolours out again.
Birmingham is pretty awesome when it comes to food these days and it’s high time I started blogging more about my local food scene. One of the newest additions to the city is Bonehead which specialises in fried chicken – easily one of my favourite things in life.
This long weekend has mostly involved friends, family and food. With trips to an exhibition, eating great Taiwanese food and then spending Sunday with family and paying respects to our ancestors for Ching Ming festival followed by dim sum.
Oh how I love Brutalist architecture and better yet, Brutalist architecture that is still very much in public use and the Southbank Centre is one of those. I visited the brilliant Andreas Gursky photography exhibition and of course, managed to take a few photos of the iconic building too.
I know it hasn’t been long since I posted about Missoma – but I only went and won some pieces from their #MyMissoma Instagram competition didn’t I?
