NEW BEGINNINGS

Royal Academy Antiquties outfit Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and ate your fill in festive foods (I know I did!). So, I’m back with my very first post for 2018 and complete with a little update. It’s been the longest time since I’ve given the site a bit of a refresh and I have finally made the move from Blogger over to WordPress after thinking about it for years but being really unsure about the process.

I honestly don’t know why I hadn’t made the move sooner because it was a breeze (major props to Pipdig for helping me with the move!) and it was all done and dusted within a day or so. I’m still updating bits here and there and I’m super excited for the flexibility for future blog updates but for now, there’s nothing like starting the year with a fresh new look.

Last year I made the the conscious decision to try and travel more and that I did, with jaunts to some brand new cities and also back to Hong Kong. However this year I’m going to make sure that I set aside more time to blog – because let’s face it, I’ve been the worst. It’s not that I’ve stopped taking photos because I still continue to take them but I just stopped getting into the habit of sharing content on here.

When I first started blogging, there were a bunch of awesome bloggers that were around but no longer blog now and I used to wonder how they could just stop doing something they love, but I get it now. It’s so easy to fall out of love with blogging and just stop altogether because it’s no longer a part of the routine. I’m not about to let that happen, so with a new look, setting aside more time to blog and saving funds for a new camera, I’m really excited for 2018!
