WOODLAND WALKS

I’m back and finally trying to get back into the swing of things with blogging. To ease myself back into the blogging life, here are some photos from a little visit to Eastnor Castle in Ledbury, Herefordshire. The castle itself is a mock revival castle and so while it looks impressive from afar, it’s only 200 years old and lacks any real juicy history. Still, it was lovely to have a wander around the grounds, explore the arboretum and enjoy the sunshine. I definitely appreciated the lush green woodland after arriving back from the city of shiny skyscrapers and high density living in Hong Kong. It might look super sunny, but shortly after we took these photos it started hailing and we had to run for shelter!

I have a bit of a thing for tops with off the shoulder or cut out detailing and I loved this &otherstories top as soon as I spotted it. While I’m not massively into prints anymore, I couldn’t resist this top and I think the print is simple enough for it to have some longevity in my wardrobe. I’ve also not photographed any outfits with this little Furla bag yet but it was a Bicester village purchase from earlier in the year. I’m such a sucker for mini crossbody bags and this one is very mini but it does hold an iPhone 6S, a few essentials including a back up battery and it’s surprisingly roomy. This style of bag has been discontinued by Furla which is why the Bicester store has so many of them. I can’t quite remember the price but I think they were reduced down to around £80. I’m pretty pleased with this as the taupe shade goes with just about everything.
