LACE AND FRILLS

Notting Hill 2I’m writing this with the rain pouring outside which admittedly is rather nice when you’ve got a cup of tea and some TV in the background. I am obsessed animal programs lately like Fierce and Supervets – despite never ever owning a pet and not being massively into animals in general, but puppies and enthusiastic/passionate people make me smile. After a weekend of glorious sunshine the UK, Summer is back to being a right old tease. Forget wearing light Summer dresses in the office, I’m now back in boots and EVEN a scarf again but hopefully it won’t be long before I can wear lighter layers. I’m in Swansea this weekend with a bunch of my friends so I am hoping for brighter weather and less of this rain.

Notting Hill CDG Converse

These were taken a few weekends ago in Notting Hill on yet another one of my little jaunts in London with Michelle. We were both repping CDG Play with Mish in her cardi and me in my Converse and we circled the CDG Play display in Dover Street Market multiple times and failing to pick up any stripey or a heart embroidered t-shirts – definitely a good thing for my purse, especially because we do not have a good track record when shopping together. Serious(ly fun) damage always. I have however been spending a lot of time in Zara lately. Slowly but surely, Topshop is no longer my go-to store and it’s definitely all about Zara for High Street pieces which have a little more longevity in the wardrobe. This lace number is my favourite at the moment. I love the lacey details and frills. It’s so girly!
