Happy Holidays! It’s finally time to get really stuck into all things Christmas which started with plenty of friend catch ups when I finished work on Tuesday, followed by festive baking, Christmas movies, gift wrapping and then the prepping for the festive food marathon. Our family Chinese hot pot tradition kicks off tonight at midnight which will all to be captured on Instagram and Snapchat (@diamondcanopy) of course!
I really struggled with the lighting in these pics and I’m considering upping my lighting game next year and invest in some photography lighting when natural lighting just isn’t an option. It sounds ridiculous to my non-blogging friends but hey the struggle is real! If you have any recommendations, let me know.
Also, how fun are the Christmas pudding teacakes? I came across the idea on Pinterest and then purchased some trusty Tunnocks Teacakes, strawberry laces and icing sugar. Literally 10 mins later, I have the best mini Christmas puddings ever. I’m not keen on actual Christmas pudding, so this is the perfect, fun alternative. I LOVE the drippy icing effect.
I’ve really appreciated the blogging community more than ever this year and I’m so excited to see what the 8th year of blogging brings. I hope you all have the most wonderful Christmas & New Year and I’ll be back soon!
