HAPPY HEN DO

It was my friend Chrissy’s Hen do last weekend and her actual wedding is just around the corner, which I am very excited to be a bridesmaid for! The plan was to bring my Instax camera and fill a photo album with plenty of fun snaps. I was left in charge with the photo album and I couldn’t resist  adding a little personalisation to the cover, especially with my recent interest in drawing again.

The Hen Do was an outdoorsy activity type one – something totally out of my comfort zone but I had an awesome time with these guys. I always knew I would because some of these girls have been my friends since we were all 11 years old and even though we all live really far apart now (some as far as Australia!) it’s always the same whenever we get back together, it’s the best thing!

We stayed in the middle of rural Shropshire right in the middle of nowhere and it was great to wake up to lush green countryside. We had a bunch of activities planned including archery, sniper shooting, yummy pub lunch and plenty of fun and games. In case you were wondering, yes my friend is dressed as an Elf! Chrissy loves archery and happens to love The Lord of the Rings too so the surprise costume was hilariously perfect. It’s funny to think that we’ve been friends since the very first day of year 7 (form buddies!) and now, 17 years later it’s just a week until her wedding…
