Day and Night Opening image
A little bit of a delayed post this evening as I was desperately trying to get my Wacom Bamboo pen to work so I could scrawl a bit of my handwriting in that opening image! Luckily I managed to figure it all out and here is my bank holiday post for you. I hope you all have had a fantastic long weekend. I didn’t really get up to much but I did manage to squeeze in some shopping…

Firstly, I made use of the bank holiday discounts on offer at GAP and purchased this white linen blouse. Since that brief change in weather a few weeks ago, I’ve been after all things white and this blouse will look great tucked into skirts, worn slightly unbuttoned with jeans or as a cover up. I’m definitely after a few more bits to add to my wardrobe, perhaps a really crisp white shirt, floaty girly tops and basic white v-neck tees. I also wandered into Zara with the intention of just window shopping but couldn’t resist this lemon yellow skirt. It’s the cheeriest colour and Zara is one of my favourite brands to find a great fitting skirt (they have some lovely ones including this turquoise skirt and white skirt!). Mine is a similar fit to my pink skirt from this post and I can’t wait to shoot it in an outfit post for you guys soon.

I have also been meaning to try the This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray. Sometimes I need that extra bit of relaxation to drift off to sleep and while lovely baths help, I don’t always opt for them daily. So this little gem was something I’d heard lots about and spotted the duo in Space NK. So far, I really like it and the Lavender, Vetiver and Camomile is super soothing and it’s a nice scent to associate with sleep. I’ve only used it twice though, so I’ll keep you posted on this one…
