After a pretty rubbish couple of weeks, I’m back and with a happy smiley post to get back into a positive mind frame (thanks for your well wishes guys, everything is ok). I must admit I’ve not had blogging on my mind for a while so it was time to take some new outfit pics today and get back into the swing of things. It does feel really good to be back with a fresh new blog post featuring my awesome new t-shirt.
Growing up, I used to get lots of Cantonese dubbed animation sent to me as a kid from Hong Kong which my grandparents recorded daily (my male cousins were all about Dragon Ball Z). I think the general idea was that my sister and I could improve our Cantonese and we used to anticipate a brand new VHS in their regular care parcels. Sailormoon was our absolute favourite and I couldn’t resist the charm of this cat print t-shirt which features Sailor Venus’s cat, Artemis. I found this tee over at Romwe and it instantly went into my shopping basket. It shipped really quickly too from the US so I was excited to come home to it a few days ago. Bearing in mind it only cost me about £6.50, the quality isn’t fantastic but I don’t really mind. Even though I’m in my er…late 20s now (yikes) it makes me smile! Definitely much needed.

I really need to catch up with the new series of Sailormoon which I watch with English subtitles. I’m used to the Cantonese dub though, so it’s not quite the same! I always think of the series when I spot crescent moons, remembering trips to China town with my parents and buying holographic Sailormoon collectors cards or if we were really, really lucky, a Sailormoon movie on VCD – oh yes those were the days!
