One magazine that I have been itching to buy is Kinfolk Magazine but as magazines go, it’s a bit of a splurge so I’ve not been able to justify purchasing the magazine. Instead I’ve been an avid reader of the Kinfolk blog. However, as soon as I realised that the 8th issue was Japan themed, I didn’t hesitate and put in an order straight away as I do have a love for all things Japanese. I’m so pleased I bought a copy as it’s the most beautiful magazine, full of dreamy photography, beautiful design and interesting articles and printed on lovely thick paper. My favourites include the recipe for cherry blossom and black sesame macarons, an article about a couple of great Japanese phrases and Hideaki Hamada’s photo-essay. It doesn’t really feel like a magazine but rather, a beautifully put-together book. It’s a pleasure to read and I think it’s safe to say that I will find it much easier to buy further issues from now on…

PS: Very quick mention that we’re saying goodbye to Google Reader and GFC soon. Here’s a guide on importing Google Reader to Bloglovin so make sure you’re following me and other blogs over on Bloglovin!
