What a funny week it's been. It's been lovely and Springy one minute and as I type this, it's all a little gloomy and rainy. I've been trying to organise my Spring Brights but my black tights are definitely still here to stay and I'm not ready to retire my Winter coat yet either. Every week I Skype my HK family and currently, they are complaining of the 28˚c weather and humidity. It's hard to imagine that kind of weather in the UK right now and when I go back in August it will reach highs of 35˚c! I'm not complaining though, I know I'll be spending my days eating plentiful Chinese desserts and wandering around super air-conned shopping malls in a bid to stay cool. Dreamy. If any of you guys ever visit HK, I'd recommend visiting in November - SO much more manageable.

I have an awesome week ahead as I'm off to Brighton on Friday for my friend's Hen Do, or a bridal shower for non-UK readers - though, a bridal shower sounds more like a very reserved tea party to me. I haven't been back to Brighton since I was a child (I remember my disappointment when I ran on to the beach ready to build sandcastles only to realise it was a pebble beach!) so I'm really looking forward to visiting. I just hope that the weather is kind to us!

  4. I love this outfit- the details and up-close shots are perfection, too! :) I loove the hot weather, but of course, never the extreme! HK will definitely be one of my travel destinations one day! Hopefully I'll be able to hit that trip during November, but probably during summer vacations, which is probably when HK is the hottest. Have a great week! xx

    1. Nor do I really and shudder at the thought of actually wearing real snakeskin... but the snakeskin print fabric of the skirt makes it so much more interesting :)
