This is my new favourite coat. I spotted it in the New Year sales and immediately decided to try it on, 'just to see' (which has always been my downfall when it comes to shopping) and of course as soon as I slipped the coat on, I knew I had to have it. I was immediately won over by the leather details, 100% wool (super cosy) and the fact that it was the last one in my size. When it comes to coats, it's never easy for me as being 4'11" means the perfect length is pretty elusive so despite the coat being a little more of a splurge, it was worth it. The only trouble is that with all this rain in the UK lately, I've been reluctant to leave the house in it...sunshine, please come back soon, we miss you! On a side note, the red jumper has seen both my dad and uncle tell me genuinely that it's ripped. Gah, what do they know eh?

  12. I've only invested in one trench coat, and I went through the same process. It was the last of its size, and it was on sale. Couldn't resist. And the lady birds and the statement necklace look rockin' together. Keep warm!

  14. Poor sweater, it's been through rough times ;) At least it would look great in a grungy outfit. I'm also a sucker for jackets as well, I love getting statement ones. That ladybug print just kills me---I've never heard of the Jaeger store, is it only in the UK?

  16. Love this outfit! I find it hard to find coats that are the right length so haven;t actually bought one for the last two years - hoping that we won't need to wear them for much longer but that may be wishful thinking! x

  27. Ahh, the amount of times I've fallen victim to 'I'll just try it on'... Especially with online shopping, it's so hard to send it back once you technically have it! Hah. It is a beautiful coat though, and the perfect length & fit on you so it was definitely worth it. Glad to see you had a nice CNY too! :)

  28. Haha exactly how many pairs of sneakers do you have? I feel like we own some of the same stuff- New Balances? Check. Black nikes? Check.

The lady bug shirt is adorable. tell your dad and uncle to come back to HK more to see more intentionally ripped sweaters. Hahaha!

  33. It makes a nice change to find a coat that's 100% wool. As pretty as Topshop and other high-street coats are, they are just never warm enough and for the price you pay it's cray.

  34. My Dad would probably make a similar comment! Love your blouse - so cute :) X
