A spring in my step

One thing that I am definitely more conscious of doing now is being more selective when I buy clothes and jewellery. When it comes to jewellery, I try and buy really interesting and unique pieces and this ring from COS has become quite a conversation starter. I like that it's sort of a bit springy and star shaped and has a stacked ring appearance. I have a lot of love for COS and while their clothes can be a bit on the pricier side, their jewellery is really affordable and has that minimalistic quality, lots of simple but interesting designs. If you guys have any favourite places to shop for unique jewellery then I'd love to know!

I have also had one of the loveliest weekends (they go by so quickly!). One of my friends had a joint birthday and engagement party - so a big BIG congratulations to Rachael and Martin who are an awesome couple. I have a new found love for Bride magazines and vintage wedding books after perusing them this weekend with Rachael - they really are the most gorgeous things to look at EVER!

(not really of course) you must save

  8. WOW...i lovee your COS ring!! The structure and shape and color is really nice!!! We recently opened a COS in central last year as well. I think i will check it out, if not for the clothes then the jewelry,lol...

And i totally agree about being picky when buying clothes and jewelry. I remember few years back when i just came out of uni and i would splurge on things that i would quickly not like!!! lol...and congrats on your friend's engagement! Not sure about you but everyone to my left, right, up, and down, are either getting married or popping babies, lol

I know its a tad bit late but i just wanted to wish you a belated merry x'mas and a happy new year! Hope you had a fab x'mas but judging from your instagram pics, im sure you did with a lot of LOVE!!! hehehe...all the best to 2013 and look forward to more blog postings from you Winnie=D

p.s. did u get that pink/white ribbon ring in HK? Cuz i got one exactly the same but in black/white, lol...it's really cute!

    take care for now dear!

  19. Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to make your
point. You obviously know what youre talking about, why throw away your intelligence on just posting videos to your site
when you could be giving us something informative to read?

  22. so many pretty rings! i used to buy cheap jewellery and then eventually i realised i hardly even wear it, so now i have a few really lovely family heirlooms and a couple of other good quality new things and i just wear those when i feel like it. it's definitely better to be a bit more selective with things like that.

  24. That's a rather clever design. I really would love to start buying jewellery, but I have to wait until my wardrobe is a bit more fleshed out before I can start thinking about it!

  30. I'm like this too, I prefer to be selective and grab unique pieces, I love artsy and unconventional styles in jewellery. Archive jewellery, Huzza.net, & Need Supply have great jewellery designers that I love. These types of rings are my favourite! :) Happy weekend.
