It's funny how fast the weather changes, just a few weeks ago, I could happily leave the house wearing flats and not worry about my feet getting cold. However, now I'm always thinking of thermal socks and heat tech tops (hi Uniqlo) which are totally unglamorous but they are a necessity right now! If leaving the house wrapped in a duvet was acceptable, I totally would (who's with me?). This outfit was taken not too long ago when such thoughts were definitely not on the radar just yet.
Blouse (Miss Selfridge) Blazer (H&M) Faux Fur (Vintage) Jeans (c/o Next) Shoes (Zara)
I like how the colours of the blouse and blazer work together and I think it's clear that us bloggers love a good faux fur stole come Winter time. I bought mine last year and I love how it pulls the look together and always transforms coats and jackets. The perfect winter accessory.
In keeping with the red colours in my outfit, I swapped the faux fur for this lovely red scarf.

What an amazing birthday pressie. I can't get enough of faux fur when the weather is this cold.
ReplyDeleteYour sister did a great job ^^
ReplyDeleteLovely scarf!!
xx
I keep hearing good things about those heat tec tops, will have to check them out next time Im in London x
ReplyDeleteThe shoes are super adorable! I wear shoes like this in the winter all the time, but I pair them with thick (but cute) socks. It works out well!
ReplyDeleteI think that a heat tec top would be a good idea -- especially right now! I'm freezing all the time.

ReplyDeleteOoo I love all the warm reds, Winnie! Oh and I am sooo with you on wearing a duvet out! My lordie! It is cold up here in Edinburgh -- and whenever I say that I'm always told that the past two winters were colder --eesh! I've been doing the same and bundling up in about four layers every time I leave the house. I am secretly impressed and jealous of the girls I see walking about in short dresses and a little jacket -- how do they do that?
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a wonderful week!
xoxox,
Lar

ReplyDeleteI've never tried anything from NARS but I've heard amazing things about the blush 'Orgasm'. Maybe I should give it a try just to add to my packaging? haha Love that blouse and always so enivous of how colourful you are :) xxxx
ReplyDeleteIs the Uniqlo heat range as good as I'd imagine? It's not the most flattering of attire but I have always walked past the range and been SO tempted to give it a go... It was snowing today in Sheffield! Bonkers!! ♥ Claire @ Jazzpad
ReplyDeleteIt's ridiculously cold now, and you're right - it changed so quickly! Coral suits you so much, looking gorgeous xx

ReplyDeleteoh i loveeeeee the faux fur vest, i so need one! I've seen a few around but they look soo tacky and cheap, lol.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's getting really cold over here too, i've been in nothing but boots, sweaters, and scarf! Yes, definitely not the most fashionable outfit but i'm so cold that i don't care! lol
Your sister is so sweet! I love the color she chose for your scarf. I used to knit in high skool and i still remember how to do it except the last part, and that is closing the end of the scarf, which is the most important step i would say! lol

ReplyDeleteI a definitely with you on the duvet front! I really need to start investing in thermals. I've been meaning to pay Uniqlo a visit for some time. You're brave wearing pumps tho...I can't bear to go out without thick socks and boots at the minute.
