Hellooo 2011!

So with the festive season well and truly over for a year (sob) it looks like I need to get back into regular blog posts! So let's start the year with a new outfit post. I realise I'm wearing the same top in my last post...I've worn it so many times already!
Don't look back into the sun
Top (Topshop) Skirt (AA) Cardi (Gift) Shoes (H&M) Belt (Accessorize)
I love the print on this cardigan that was a gift from my aunts. I just can't believe It's not actually made it into a proper outfit post as I've had for a few months now!
detail: shoes and stripes
Here are some pretty pictures to round off the first post of the new year! I'm glad the snow has gone but it's still pretty frosty around here.

So I'm finally done with education, I think my friends who are carrying on and studying PhD's (you know who you are) are all crazy. So with uni all done with, I'm excited for the possibilities for this year. The real world definitely calls but among all the question marks for this year, a holiday to Hong Kong in the Summer is definitely planned. We're looking into flights right now. Yay!

I've also just realised that January 2011 means my blog is 4 years 3 years old! (Oops I made a bit of a boo boo with that one) I would never ever have guessed that I'd be running this blog for this long. I've never been good at writing diaries or keeping up hobbies so it's pretty impressive that I've kept it up for so long...and I'm definitely still going!

Hope you've all had an awesome 2011 so far!
Happy New Year!!

  1. Happy New Year Winnie,

Like you I'm excited to go HK this summer for a short period of time, I need to brush up my Cantonese and speak proper Hakka to my nana and relatives.

Where's your home in HK? I'll be staying near my nana's village in Tai Po.

That cardi is so fun and I am very glad the snow has gone too... although I really love it, when it falls I just end up stranded on the silly hill where I live! I've got a couple of mad friends who are doing PhDs but I've got to go back to being a student this september to qualify and I can't bloody wait - the real world is not as fun as it's cracked up to be! :) x
