Aussie and the girls over at 1000 heads are amazing. On Saturday they hosted a fab Nautical themed party at the Tiki party room over at Birmingham's best cocktail bar, Island Bar which turned out to be an amazing, fun night and which leads to this very picture heavy post!
First of all, I swung by the swanky Malmaison hotel (located at uber fashionable Mail Box to see Fi from Save Our Shoes and Emily from My Fashion Life. Everytime I see Fi, it's a lot of fun. It's funny how blogging has introduced me to some really awesome friends! I also hadn't seen Emily since wayyy back at that Arcadia blogger's event last year and it was so much fun catching up!

Before the party, I gave them a quick tour of the Custard Factory where the weekly Flea market was open...
Where Fi bought me and Emily a cupcake each...
On the way back to the Hotel, I spotted this random bit of poster peeking through which caught my eye.
We also made a detour to a pub 20mins bus ride away for Fi to leave a present for her friend's band that were playing. Fi and LJ over at Save Our Shoes are good friends with Phosphorescent and they are really good, definitely check them out if you have time!

A quick outfit shot after changing into some different shoes and a slick of MAC'S Russian Red lippy...
We then headed off to the bar where we were greeted with amazing cocktails..
We had cocktail lessons...
And also had many a cocktail at the open bar (wow wow)
We were pampered and I chose to have curly hair...my hair is so straight that it usually just defys curls but the stylists did such a great job!
The stylists, Amber and Zara were so much fun too!
There was a spot of robot dancing from Emma from 1000 heads and Fi.
...and we managed to take some silly photos
At the end of the night, we were given party bags! These were waaay better than any party bag I've ever received at children's birthday parties!
We all agreed this was the best party that we had ever been to, thank you so much Aussie!!
PS. I used the leave in conditioner over night in my hair and it's so good, it not only smells good but my hair feels so soft too!
