I saw these Irregular Choice shoes and couldn't resist sharing them with you especially as food and fashion are recurring themes of this blog, as well as looking not too unlike those cupcakes in my side bar. While I'm not sure if I can see myself wearing such a patterned shoe they are definitely something to behold. Overly cutesy and er, cakey in general, these shoes don't just scream ice cream (OK I'm sorry, I couldn't hold that one back) they are so much fun and would definitely brighten up any outfit.I just got back from an open day at Uni for my masters in marketing. Apparently the Msc Marketing course is suited as a conversion course, so I was reassured that holding an Art History degree rather than a business related degree was not a problem. I spoke to a guy who had a degree in geology, another who studied History and Politics and another guy had a degree in medical sciences...so there are quite a few of us with quite varied backgrounds! I feel more confident about my choice to return for postgraduate study and I'm really looking forward to starting the course in September now. Yay.

OMH I love them. I want them. Like that would happen. But they are just so charming.
ReplyDeleteThey really are like art. So Yummy.
ReplyDeleteReally so elegant and cool. hmmmm..but where would I wear these. I'd really have to think about that. Quite beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThose shoes are a hoot! And I didn't know you were going back to school - hurrah!
ReplyDeleteLov'n the shoes. I think Marketing class would be a blast & I have a feeling you'll be more on the inside of it than those other guys. Wishing you the best on the class.
ReplyDeleteI am inlove with the shoes! lol:)
ReplyDeleteouuuh, my friends sometimes call me winnie:) hahahaha

Food and fashion are a perfect combination, even if it is wearing it rather than eating. Infact I was just oredring something from Q-pot earlier today.

really nice blog!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my actual god. Those shoes.... I need them. I love Irregular Choice, somehow everything they make is amazing. I haven't owned a pair in years.... but these are tempting me SO much.
ReplyDeleteWhen I get a job these may be the first things I buy. My problem is that I never want to wear expensive/pretty shoes, for fear of scuffing or ruining them. How do those women prance around in £600 Jimmy Choos and not worry?? I can't understand it.
I'll make sure I only wear them when there's no chance of rain. Ha.
Good luck on your postgrad course as well, it sounds pretty good!
OMg the print is so happy :)
ReplyDeleteYUMMY!
ReplyDeleteXoXo

love the shoes! my sister has come irregular choice shoes but they are more to look at then to actually wear! x
ReplyDeletethey are insane... haha I'm not a fan of irregular choice personally, their shoes just seem so wrong that they're just wrong, but its all a matter of personal taste! good to hear you're looking forward to your postgrad course :) i'm gonna continue studying next year too! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI loooove irregular choice! I have a pair of flats that look like they once belonged to an eskimo.. my boyfriend laughed out loud when he saw them. I also love the ones they used to (possibly still) do with the toadstools on them. Cuuute! I'd imagine that if you bought a pair you'd want to stick them on display rather than on your feet. And postgrad study - good move - avoiding the real world for as long as possible. I'll be doing the same! :) x
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely shoe!
